Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
You do realise Newcastle sell atleast double the amount of shirts than us

To be at Thier level is good at the moment

"KB has secured a great deal on sponsor. Setting us up perfectly to sign a new record deal after hopefully couple of good seasons in OS"

that sounds like pure club marketing speak. who are you?

"In fact noting our relative lack of success, quite a deal to have signed in all honesty"

Yeah only a couple of million short a year in comparison to the sponsoring of the hugely successful Newcastle United team.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
They wont discount it until around March time. Some fans will be determined to have both versions of the home shirts...collectors, like.

penners28 6:59 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
16 games minimum

Minus friendlies, that could work out as 40% of our games this season....so for this reason i think we should have made an effort to make it look , well, less shit?

Far Cough 6:50 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
I was in the shop this morning, no discount as yet

Norf - ALL shirts have got Alpari on. There aren't ANY without.

penners28 6:39 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
They could have easily removed the alpari lettering. Then used fabric and printed betway in the same way, then restitched.

You can just see it now though:

Sullivan -" just whack a big logo over it. No one will care"

Huffers
I'd understand that if it was the beginning of the season or the first year in a two year deal but this kit is finished in three and a half months who would buy that with a stick on label on the front......?certainly not me

B6NY B 6:28 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
Exactly north. We look like fucking TRAMPS, redesign the logo on the players shirt so it's just betway font (exactly like Alpari) and let people get the tacky print if they wish in the club shop.

*bangs head on wall

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
Because the kids will soon be crying that they dont wear the same ones as the players.

Aston Villa had a problem a few years ago where DWS was their sponsor, with their logo it looked like COWS on their shirt, they changed the players ones only then had to change all the supporters ones after uproar.

Does it keep you up at night?

Don't worry about it

Norflundon 6:19 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
I understand that the kits they sell in the shop can't be remade but what can't they just make new kits for the players are we actually that pikey we don't want to waste shirts
It looks fucking pathetic

Gavros 6:19 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
Well sorry Cough, but this deal is just annoying. Brady last year was bragging in her column about all the massive multinational that were desperate to partner the club and sponsor the Olympic Stadium....so where are they when the shirt needs sponsoring? Would you not think that the sponsor of the stadium would also like to sponsor the team? Not planning ahead for that is massively short sighted.

penners28 6:15 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
Fair play, they are a SHIT company to deal with.

Harassing me with tips, cash out not working, chat support not working

Far Cough 6:15 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
You're getting as bad as some others on here Gavros, nitpicking the club to death, I thought you were better than that?
